Fats here.
Happy Friday! Two weeks ago, we had a terrible snowfall. (By terrible, I mean terrible by Wooster, Ohio standards. I’m sure our snow accumulation is nothing compared to other places like Minnesota, Chicago, Boston, or even Canada!) The roads were awful and it was cold and dreary during that weekend. Since it’s still winter in my side of the world, I decided to pick a poem that speaks of the season. I found this poem in a delightful collection entitled, The Proper Way to Meet a Hedgehog and Other How-To Poems. The poems in the book were selected by Paul Janeczko and beautifully illustrated by Richard Jones.
Many thanks to Cheriee of Library Matters for hosting Poetry Friday round-up this week!
