Ying Chang Compestine in Singapore!

Myra here.

I am very excited to share with you all that Ying Chang Compestine would be coming here to Singapore.

If you are in Singapore and would like to attend this free event, please click here to sign up and register.

As the moderator of this event, I would have a chance to ask her a few questions about her novels Revolution is Not A Dinner Party (which I have just finished reading)

Special thanks to Pansing Books for sending me copies of these books.

and A Banquet for Hungry Ghosts (nearly done with this one).

Thank you Pansing Books for sending me this copy.

Our team (All About Rice! Committee) at the Asian Festival of Children’s Content has also just e-published ALL ABOUT RICE! – AN ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY OF RICE THEMED STORIES. Ying Chang Compestine’s The Runaway Rice Cake is one of our featured titles in this collection.

Needless to say, it’s going to be a fun evening at The Arts House (Blue Room) on 9 July, Wednesday, 7 pm. If you’re free, come and join us. It’s bound to be a literary feast! Hopefully there will be no hungry ghosts around.

  1. This sounds quite wonderful, Myra. Wish I could fly right over! Glad to have the titles!

  2. How wonderful to have an author visit! I love A Banquet for Hungry Ghosts–it is pretty gruesome and great to recommend in October when a student wants something a little bit different than the traditional Halloween fare.
