As the moderator of this event, I would have a chance to ask her a few questions about her novels Revolution is Not A Dinner Party (which I have just finished reading)

Thank you Pansing Books for sending me this copy.

Our team (All About Rice! Committee) at the Asian Festival of Children’s Content has also just e-published ALL ABOUT RICE! – AN ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY OF RICE THEMED STORIES. Ying Chang Compestine’s The Runaway Rice Cake is one of our featured titles in this collection.

Needless to say, it’s going to be a fun evening at The Arts House (Blue Room) on 9 July, Wednesday, 7 pm. If you’re free, come and join us. It’s bound to be a literary feast! Hopefully there will be no hungry ghosts around.

  2. How wonderful to have an author visit! I love A Banquet for Hungry Ghosts–it is pretty gruesome and great to recommend in October when a student wants something a little bit different than the traditional Halloween fare.
