It is that time of the week again where we share a book quote that seemed particularly striking for us.
Our book quote theme from here on onwards will be about BOOKS and READING.
I have always loved Alberto Manguel. I have a collection of his books on reading that I am very excited to get into (Amazon | Book Depository). This quote, in particular, I find to be especially hopeful. While it is clear-eyed about the limitations of books and reading, it also speaks of the many possibilities that reading brings. Just that spark is enough, at least for me.
