It is that time of the week again where we share a book quote that seemed particularly striking for us.

Our book quote theme from here on onwards will be about BOOKS and READING.

I have only ever read the graphic novel version of Marcel Proust’s In Search Of Lost Time: Swann’s Way (Amazon | Book Depository), I have yet to finally read his Days of Reading (Amazon | Book Depository) which a librarian friend has passed on to me. I need to find my copy and read it soonest.

Myra is a Teacher Educator and a registered clinical psychologist based in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. Prior to moving to the Middle East, she lived for eleven years in Singapore serving as a teacher educator. She has edited five books on rediscovering children’s literature in Asia (with a focus on the Philippines, Malaysia, India, China, Japan) as part of the proceedings for the Asian Festival of Children’s Content where she served as the Chair of the Programme Committee for the Asian Children’s Writers and Illustrators Conference from 2011 until 2019.
