It is that time of the week again where we share a book quote that seemed particularly striking for us.

Our book quote theme from here on onwards will be about BOOKS and READING.

I have yet to read The Autobiography of Malcolm X (Amazon | Book Depository), but I am glad to see some book love in this particular quote. Over and above being mentally alive, I feel that reading provides me the space to be emotionally attuned to who I am at any given moment.

Myra is a Teacher Educator and a registered clinical psychologist based in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. Prior to moving to the Middle East, she lived for eleven years in Singapore serving as a teacher educator.
