[BHE 535] Book Hunting in California: Brentwood Library Book Sale, Target, Online Book Buys

California book lovin'

Myra here.

My family and I were fortunate enough to spent the summer with family in the Bay Area/California. While I already shared some of my book purchases a few weeks back, here are a few more.

Brentwood Public Library Book Sale

I love book sales. When I found out that there was a Farmer’s Market and my husband spotted the library book sale, we made sure to drop by to get a few astounding titles.

(01) The Maids by Junichiro Tanizaki (Amazon | Book Depository)

(02) The Golden Age by Joan London (Amazon | Book Depository)

(03) The Leopard by Jo Nesbo (Amazon | Book Depository)

(04) The Guest List by Lucy Foley (Amazon | Book Depository)

(05) The Last Watchman Of Old Cairo by Michael David Lukas (Amazon | Book Depository)

(06) Leaves Of Grass: The Deathbed Edition by Walt Whitman (Amazon | Book Depository)

Marked Down Books From Target

I love the fact that Target sells books at 20% off. I am a sucker for book sales and library sales, that much is true.

(07) Last Night At The Telegraph Club by Malinda Lo (Amazon | Book Depository)

(08) Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid (Amazon | Book Depository)

(09) Killers Of The Flower Moon by David Grann (Amazon | Book Depository)

(10) The Dictionary Of Lost Words by Pip Williams (Amazon | Book Depository)

Online Book Purchase

I also took advantage of the fact that online book deliveries are cheaper while in the US. Here are some of my book buys.

(11) The Hurting Kind by Ada Limon (Amazon | Book Depository)

(12) All Our Yesterdays by Natalia Ginzburg (Amazon | Book Depository)

(13) How To Read Now by Elaine Castillo (Amazon | Book Depository)

How about you? Any recent book finds?
