Myra here.
It is that time of the week again where we share a book quote that seemed particularly striking for us.
For the month of March, our book quote theme is: BLOOM.
I read Donna Tartt’s The Goldfinch (Amazon | Book Depository) awhile back. It is a sprawling novel that is riddled with loss and heartache and shards of light amidst a gaping darkness. I recall having had to read a few other fantasy novels or lighthearted books in between, as it was difficult getting into the head of the main character. I have yet to watch the film adaptation with Nicole Kidman. Has anyone seen it yet? Would love to hear your thoughts of how it compares to the book.
