[BHE 461] E-Picturebooks, Kinokuniya Delivery, and ARCs

Kinokuniya Delivery and E-picturebook haul.

Myra here.

Here are my latest book discoveries via Overdrive. Kinokuniya UAE also had a recent 15% discount for web-orders. The fact that it is also free delivery for orders above 100 AED sweetened the deal even more, and I am weak! Weak!

ARCs from Amazon Crossing

It has been awhile since I received ARCs. I usually receive boxes of books from Pansing in Singapore when I lived there, and that is, hands down, one of the things I miss the most, apart from the gorgeous, well-stocked libraries. And so, I am grateful that Amazon Crossing Kids really makes an effort to send me their international (translated) picturebook titles. For those who have been following GatheringBooks over the past years, you would know about my love for international picturebooks – and I cannot recommend these two enough.

(15) Magic Candies by Heena Baek and translated by Sophie Bowman (Amazon | Book Depository)

(16) The Caiman by Maria Eugenia Manrique and Ramon Paris and translated by Amy Brill (Amazon | Book Depository)

How about you? Any recent book finds?
