It is that time of the week again where we share a book quote that seemed particularly striking for us.

For the month of November, our book quote theme is: RESIST

While I have Libba Bray’s The Diviners and Rebel Angels, I was dismayed to discover that I do not yet own her Beauty Queens (Amazon | Book Depository). As most of you may know, I have a love-hate relationship with YA literature, but beauty queens who resist and who fight, I think I have to find this book, stat!

Myra is a Teacher Educator and a registered clinical psychologist based in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. Prior to moving to the Middle East, she lived for eleven years in Singapore serving as a teacher educator.
