Book Hunting Expeditions Reading Life

[BHE 409] Picturebooks from Zayed Central Library

Zayed Central Library in Al Ain.

Myra here.

One of my favourite places here now in Al Ain, where we live, is the Zayed Central Library. While I still maintain that a lot more can be done to boost children’s literature in our quaint, provincial little town – I am pleased with my new discoveries each time I come to visit.

This time around, I visited the nonfiction area of the children’s section of the library, and found quite a few new-to-me titles.

I usually find this area to be filled with young readers. I just lucked out this one time that I found it deserted. Naturally, I had to take lots of photographs.

Here are my finds!

Mariama: Different But Just The Same by Jeronimo Cornelles and Nivola Uya (Amazon | Book Depository)

A Bike Like Sergio’s by Maribeth Boelts and Noah Z. Jones (Amazon | Book Depository)

Starstruck: The Cosmic Journey Of Neil DeGrasse Tyson by Kathleen Krull and Paul Brewer and illustrated by Frank Morrison (Amazon | Book Depository)
