Fats here.
Happy Holidays and well wishes to everyone! My social energy dwindles as the year ends. Ha! Anyway, in celebration of the coming year, I’m sharing a poem by Ella Wheeler Wilcox. Check it out! Layout and design courtesy of Canva. Background image courtesy of HK Tatler.
Many thanks to Michelle Kogan for hosting the Poetry Friday round-up!

I like to revisit this poem annually — thanks for sharing it, Fats! Happy New Year!

I’m with you on my energy level dwindling down with the end of the year… Thanks for this cyclical poem that manages to fit so much in such a small space–it makes me value and appreciate the larger universe around me. Sending wishes for a happy New Year!

I’ve never seen this poem before, but it’s a great one. Thanks for sharing it. I’m also pretty low-energy this holiday season. First the flu and now I’m in NYC visiting my daughter. I’m loving spending time with her, but I find the city exhausting and fascinating.
