It is that time of the week again where we share a book quote that seemed particularly striking for us.

Laurie Halse Anderson is one of the female authors I am wishing I would get to reading soonest. This particular quote from her novel Speak (Amazon | Book Depository) shows how stripping away Christmas magic can break parents’ hearts more than the children’s. Such truth.
