Kenneth here.
Every Saturday we hope to share with you our thoughts on reading and books. We thought that it would be good practice to reflect on our reading lives and our thoughts about reading in general. While on occasion, we would feature a few books in keeping with this, there would be a few posts where we will just write about our thoughts on read-alouds, libraries, reading journals, upcoming literary conferences, books that we are excited about, and just book love miscellany in general.

There are only twelve pages in this utterly delightful large-format illustrated book, four each for the three titular villains, the Wolf, the Giant, and the Witch.
“Yes, it’s true that I sometimes happen to eat (okay, devour) lost children…”
Each of the villains has one page with an introduction like a cover letter for a job application, then a page detailing their strengths, weaknesses, likes and fears, and a list of stories where they appear, something you could imagine being used to create a Facebook profile.
“My appetite is insatiable.”
Each section ends with a complete tale featuring the villain, followed by a full body illustration (and I mean full body – including some intestines, and even a peek at some undergarments too!) with pull out flaps revealing hidden details.
“There is no limit to my wickedness!”

I WANT this book! It looks gorgeous!
