Dining In Dublin: Le Petit Breton
Last week, I shared a bit of my dining experience while I was in Dublin. I am excited to continue the series with an unexpected find, quite close to my AirBnB place.
I was sad, though, that I only got to discover it during my last day in the city. Had I known about this place much earlier, I would probably have dined here every single day.
The service was not bad, and they also serve tap water, which is a blessing.
I was on my way to the airport an hour after my meal, and I needed all the energy I could muster to lug my suitcase heavy with so many books I bought while in the city. Here’s my fairly heavy brunch.
I naturally ordered the Irish Breakfast Crepe (acon, black pudding, egg, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes.
bA close up of just the meal without the book.
My coffee, which is sadly, not refillable, if I remember correctly.
Naturally, I had to order dessert! But of course. This is their homemade chocolate sauce and banana (€5.95). And it was heavenly.
Another photo without the book. If you want to know my thoughts about In The Woods by Tana French, here is my review. If you are in Dublin, make sure you go to this place. It is not unreasonably expensive, the food is divine, it is truly value for money, and one of the unpretentious, economical restaurants I’ve been to while I was there.
That dessert, though. *drool*
Beautiful pics as always!
