My 2018 Journey in Books

Check out my 2018 Year in Books and Goodreads Reading Challenge!

Fats here.

This year has come and gone. Although I had my occasional reading slump, I think I did pretty well for my Reading Challenge this year. I cut my reading goal in half because I wanted a stress-free reading year. I’m posting my Year in Books a few days early so maybe I could finish two more books before the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Day. *fingers crossed*

My Reading Challenge total does not include all the picture books I read this year and a few other children’s and adult titles. I’ll add those to My Books later. I’m honestly too tired to fuss with my checkout history online. (It’s pretty neat that I have access to all my checkouts since 2016, I think.) Below you’ll find screenshots of my 2018 Year in Books from Goodreads. I also added my favorite titles from my Reading Challenge list.

I’m looking forward to the coming year. I am expecting about two dozen more titles to be added to my collection and lots more from the library. Keep reading!

Fats is the Assistant Manager for Circulation Services at the Wayne County Public Library in Wooster, Ohio. She considers herself a reader of all sorts, although she needs to read more non-fiction books. She likes a good mystery but is not fond of thrillers. She takes book hoarding seriously and enjoys collecting bookmarks and tote bags.
