Myra here.
EVERY SUNDAY, we share the books that found their way into our hands. This week, I am sharing my modest book loot from my institution’s (National Institute of Education – NIE) library as well as my loot from the local public library (National Library Board, NLB Singapore).
Picturebook Biographies from the NIE Library
Talkin’ About Bessie: The Story Of Aviator Elizabeth Coleman by Nikki Grimes and Illustrated by E. B. Lewis, Wind Flyers by Angela Johnson and Illustrated by Loren Long.
Memoirs from the Public Library
Howards End Is On The Landing: A Year Of Reading From Home by Susan Hill, Textbook: Not Exactly A Memoir by Amy Krouse Rosenthal, and Mary’s Monster by Lita Judge.
Review Copy of a Picturebook
On Gull Beach by Jane Yolen and illustrated by Bob Marstall.
How about you? What are the books that found their way into your shelves recently?
Wow. Jane Yolen seems to write for every age group and genre imaginable! I’m not surprised she has that picture book. I’m actually about to head to my local library now. Thanks for sharing those finds!
