Myra here.

Every Sunday, we share the books that found their way into our hands and shelves from our many travels or library visits or book hunting expeditions.

Double Up Your Reading Library Haul (Part Two)

Last week, I shared the National Library Board’s promo that allows patrons to borrow twice as many items until 31 January 2018 – perfect for the school holidays.

One of the great things I like about this season is the book list that comes out from librarians, book bloggers, award-giving bodies from around the world – about the best of the best in 2017 titles. When the New York Public Library – NYPL’s 2017 Best Books for Kids came out, I used that as a guide to find some of the titles from our library, at least the ones that are already available here in Singapore – in addition to the ones that simply spoke out to me from the shelves especially as we celebrate titles about Writing Home: Hues of Diaspora in Literature.
