[BHE 272] Book Shopping In Innsbruck (Tyrolia) and Munich (Kunst Und Spiel) and More Books to Welcome Me Back in Singapura

Myra here.

While I have been back home in Singapore for a few weeks now, I still have a travel hangover which I have been attempting to fix by sharing photos of my book hunting expeditions while in Europe. Here’s one from my day trip to Innsbruck.

Book Hunting in Innsbruck

Tyrolia: Maria-Theresien-Straße 15, 6020 Innsbruck, Austria

Here’s what the inside looks like:

I was especially taken by their collection of graphic novels:

Plus their collection of novels published in English:

I was sorely tempted to get myself a copy of the new Arundhati Roy novel, but decided on this one instead:

Three Daughters of Eve by Elif Shafak.

Kunst Und Spiel – Book Hunting in Munich

Address: Leopoldstraße 48, 80802 München, Germany

I went to this bookstore last year and fell in love with it. And so, I made sure that I visited it again this year.

So if you see that giant white man, you know you are near the place.

I was looking for one specific title, though, and I am so happy to have found it:

Finally! My own copy of Miroslav Sasek’s This Is Munich.

Books that Welcomed Me Back in Singapore

I also received these three gorgeous titles when I arrived home in Singapore:

Kisses for Kindergarten by Livingstone Crouse and Macky Pamintuan.

How I Did It! by Linda Ragsdale and Anoosha Syed, Alpha Better by Linda Ragsdale and Martina Hogan.

How about you, fellow bibliophiles? What are the books that found their way into your shelves?
