[BHE 267] Picturebooks from European Creators (Part One of Two)

Myra here.

Every Sunday, we share books that called out to us and found their way into our shelves. This week is extra special, as we will be launching our new reading theme tomorrow. Since I did purchase quite a number of European-themed picturebooks a few months back for our research project, I did some book scrounging from my own shelves.

Picturebooks from European Creators

Fish On A Walk by Eva Muggenthaler, The Umbrella by Ingrid & Dieter Schubert.

The Hole by Oyvind Torseter, Loup Noir by Antoine Guilloppé.

In Search Of Happiness by Juliette Saumande and illustrations by Eric Puybaret, One Red Shoe by Karin Gruss and Tobias Krejtschi.

No Ordinary Family by Ute Krause, The Whispering Town by Jennifer Elvgren and illustrations by Fabio Santomauro.

Where Do We Go When We Disappear? by Isabel Minhós Martins and Madalena Matoso, What Happens When… by Delphine Chedru.

Little Red Riding Hood by Perrault and illustrated by Sarah Moon, Little Red Hood by Marjolaine Leray, The True Story Of Little Red Riding Hood by Agnese Baruzzi and Sandro Natalini.

Little Big Boubo by Beatrice Alemagna, Bonjour Camille by Felipe Cano and illustrations by Laia Aguilar.

If you know of any European-themed books that you feel we should know about, do share them with us along with your book finds over the past weeks!
