[Poetry Friday] Surrender to Sorrow

poetry friday

Fats here.

Let me begin by saying that I find it hard to concentrate after hearing about the devastating news about the revised health care bill. I have no words. I do, but I don’t, if that even makes sense.

Today, I am sharing a short poem by Tyler Knott Gregson, which somewhat captures how I felt last night, sniffles and all.

Thank you Jama of Jama’s Alphabet Soup for hosting this week’s
Poetry Friday round-up!

She takes book hoarding seriously and enjoys collecting bookmarks and tote bags.

  1. Wow, thanks for this poem — really needed to read those words. I hear you on feeling devastated. It’s just so overwhelming and it keeps hitting us day after day. Hugs.
