Fats here.
For this week’s Poetry Friday, I’m sharing a poem by Joyce Sidman. She is one of the most celebrated and distinguished children’s poets today, and I think it’s only fitting to feature her artistry in celebration of our theme on Fearless Females and Courageous Women. The poem below is taken from her book, What the Heart Knows: Chants, Charms, and Blessings, which was beautifully illustrated by the equally talented Pamela Zagarenski.
Many thanks to Robyn Hood Black of Life on the Deckle Edge for hosting the round-up!
Wonderful! The logo for March/April is wonderful, too.
