[Photo Journal] Ohio Winter 2016 – Part 1 of 2

Fats here.

We are excited to share photographs every Tuesday about our recent or long-ago travels, or just everyday stuff that appealed to our mindful eye and sharp sensibilities as captured through fleeting images.

Earlier this month, I posted some winter photos from my side of town. Last week, we had another snowfall, accumulating about 6 inches of snow — the most we’ve seen this winter. Below are some of the photos I took that day.

Be warned: Lots of snow images incoming!

“There is nothing in the world more beautiful than the forest clothed to its very hollows in snow. It is the still ecstasy of nature, wherein every spray, every blade of grass, every spire of reed, every intricacy of twig, is clad with radiance.”
– William Sharp

Which photo did you like best, if any?
Did it snow where you live? If you took some snow photos this winter and shared it on your blog, link it below! I’d love to see them!

  1. Lovely photos — I love #5. Didn’t realize you live in Ohio. You must live in the northern part, because I live in SW Ohio and we have only had one real snow a week or so ago. It seems to go south or north of us. Now the warmer temps, with a change to come tomorrow. We’ve been lucky this year.

Hi Pat! I live in NE Ohio, specifically in Wooster. We might have experienced the same snowfall because it was also the only real snow we’ve had all winter long! I heard it’s going to snow again this week or the next, but Ohio weather is unpredictable so who knows, right? 😉
