We are excited to share photographs every Tuesday about our recent or long-ago travels, or just everyday stuff that appealed to our mindful eye and sharp sensibilities as captured through fleeting images.

I have been doing a London feature over the past weeks and I thought I might as well share these photographs that I have taken while I was in Camden Town to purchase a few souvenir stuff to bring to my family.

While there were a whole lot of little shops found in Camden Town – London’s souvenir shopping district, I suppose – these two caught my eye. I love how Namaste was juxtaposed against the Dark Side – a simulacrum of life itself.

Virginia Wolf’s shop of tiny painted skulls transformed into little trinkets also fascinated me to no end. Here are a few more:
