Fats here.
Every Sunday, we share the books that have found their way into our hands – through the workings of fate, chance, or circumstance.
The titles you’ll see below are a combination of gifts that I received during the holiday season, books I bought around that time, or books I borrowed from the library. Let me know if you’re familiar with any of these!
The Bear’s Sea Escape by Benjamin Chaud
The Almost Fearless Hamilton Squidlegger by Timothy Basil Ering
The Grudge Keeper by Mara Rockliff and Eliza Wheeler
Brimsby’s Hats by Andrew Prahin
Chu’s First Day of School by Neil Gaiman and Adam Rex
Morris Micklewhite and the Tangerine Dress by Christine Baldacchino and Isabelle Malenfant
The books above were borrowed from different CLEVNET libraries.
Where the Mountain Meets the Moon by Grace Lin
Love, Ruby Lavender by Deborah Wiles
The Thief of Always by Clive Barker
Waiting for Normal by Leslie Connor
It was such a delight finding Love, Ruby Lavender and The Thief of Always at the local thrift shop downtown called Books in Stock.
The Pagemaster by David Kirschner, Ernie Contreras, and Jerry Tiritilli
This is another lovely find from Books in Stock! The pages in the book were so much like the scenes in the movie!
The Maze Runner by James Dashner
What the Dog Saw and Other Adventures by Malcolm Gladwell
I bought these books at Barnes & Noble.
1Q84 by Haruki Murakami
This special edition with transparent slipcase cover was ordered through Amazon.
The Annotated Sandman, Vol. 3 by Neil Gaiman and Leslie S. Klinger
This book is a beautiful addition to the Sandman series that I already have. (See below.)
The Absolute Sandman (bottom copy) contains full-color illustrations on glossy pages whereas the cheaper Annotated Sandman contains black and white illustrations on paper with panel commentaries on the side.
Hollow City by Ransom Riggs
The Oversight by Charlie Fletcher
The Infographic History of the World by Valentina D’Efilippo and James Ball
The three titles above were all purchased from the Science Fiction Book Club.

Generously given by the boyfriend as a Christmas present. Yay! =)
Hey baby girl, I am going through my Sandman collection too – not as fancy as yours, but it serves its purpose. Hahaha. Which volume are you in now? Care to do a collaborative posting when we do our Comic Crazy reading theme sometime end of the year? That would be exciting.
