Myra here.

I am glad to join Frizztext’s A-Z Photo Story Challenge this week with F is Food from Tim Ho Wan here in Singapore. This restaurant is quite famous in Hong Kong and you could just imagine the overly-long queues here in Singapore when their branch at The Atrium @ Plaza Singapura opened. Expect around 30-40 minutes waiting time on a week day. I wouldn’t even dare go there on a weekend. Here are our photographs when we finally had a chance to taste their dimsum specialties.

Apologies, but I have forgotten what this dumpling is called. One of the Chef’s Recommendations. Not as remarkable as I had hoped it would be.

Congee with Lean Pork, Century Egg, and Salted Egg. Definitely the best congee I tasted here in Singapore.

Heavenly indeed.

  1. I’m happy that my wife mostly likes to cook (we got new WOK in the kitchen) at home with and for our friends, so I don’t suffer in “overly-long queues …(with) around 30-40 minutes waiting time on a week day…”

  2. The only two things I DON’T want here are the congee (just looks weird, but probably tastes great) and the chicken feet—and no caviar on the wasabi shrimp, please 🙂 Thanks for sharing, Myra! REALLY making me want Chinese quisine now lol
