Book Hunting Expeditions Picture Books Reading Themes War, Poetry, Refuge, Peace

[BHE 115] War-Themed Picturebooks and Juvenile Fiction Novels

Fats here.

Last week, we launched our new theme for the months of July and August, Scarred Souls and Bloodstained Memories: Tales of War and Poetry, Refuge and Peace. Here’s my first haul from Wayne County Public Library. I placed a few more titles on hold because the books were not available in the main library. Let me know if you’re familiar with any of these books or if you have book recommendations for our theme. Also, we are inviting fellow book hunters to share with us photographs of your favorite bookstores (be it indie, discounted book stores, book cafes, big retail bookshops) and a few of your amazing book finds. You may send your BHE post to gatheringbooks (at) yahoo (dot) com. We’d be delighted to have your loot featured here!
