It’s Tuesday! Time once again for Frizztext’s A-Z Photo Story Challenge. Letter this week is Y and so I share photographs taken from Yosemite. There is something truly magical and majestic about this place. Our visit truly seemed like a surreal experience.
Yosemite

“Mountains, according to the angle of view, the season, the time of day, the beholder’s frame of mind, or any one thing, can effectively change their appearance. Thus, it is essential to recognize that we can never know more than one side, one small aspect of a mountain.”
― Haruki Murakami, A Wild Sheep Chase

I thought that rather than share just the scenic views of Yosemite which I have done on a few occasion here, I would include some of the photographs taken of me and my daughter in this lovely place. She was still a few years younger here, but her sense of mischief is perfectly captured.

We only stayed for a few hours, which would explain my daughter’s face. Perhaps the next time we visit we could stay awhile longer. One can simply get lost in the view.

My deadly boots in the snow. It did help me navigate my way around the area, not surprisingly.
I’m surprised by your black Yosemite boots!

Hi Erik, yes we did! Even though we only stayed for a few hours. Have you visited Yosemite yet?

I’m sure you would have plenty of time this summer. 🙂 I do wish we can visit again – we’re thinking of staying a little longer – perhaps over the weekend. The place is truly beautiful.
