It’s Tuesday, one of my favorite days of the week. Time to join Frizztext’s A-Z Photo Story Challenge. Letter this week is S and so I share a few photographs of Sea Creatures from the Oceanarium here in Singapore.
Sea Creatures
“You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is like an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.”
― Mahatma Gandhi
“The sea is emotion incarnate. It loves, hates, and weeps. It defies all attempts to capture it with words and rejects all shackles. No matter what you say about it, there is always that which you can’t.”
― Christopher Paolini, Eragon
“Alive without breath,
As cold as death;
Never thirsty, ever drinking,
All in mail never clinking.”
― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit
“The fish in the creek said nothing. Fish never do. Few people know what fish think about injustice, or anything else.”
― Ursula K. Le Guin, Catwings
hi Myra,
thank you for the quotation too:
“You must not lose faith in humanity.
Humanity is like an ocean;
if a few drops of the ocean are dirty,
the ocean does not become dirty.”
― Mahatma Gandhi
P.S.:
optimism is good. Let’s hope that some drops from the Fukushima nuclear disaster will not spoil the Pacific Ocean …
