1:4:1000 Book Drive Full Steam Ahead!

We worried that we wouldn’t be able to meet our 1000 Books goal, but this past week proved us wrong and its been amazing. Books from Singapore, the US, the Philippines and Canada are making their way into out boxes for the 1:4:1000 Book drive.

The response has been wonderful and overwhelming! Thank you to everybody who has donated their books or who have pledged their donations.  We  will continue to accept donations until the 18th of June. While we are to distribute the books early July, we need to give time for the shipping.

Hi Iphigene, Congratulations on so many books for your drive! Can you edit your blog entry to show that the books we donated are not from me personally but rather from the Lewis Center for Educational Research? We were so happy to find an appropriate place to donate them. Thank you Fats for coming up to Apple Valley to pick them up!
